Hello friends! Well, it's Memorial Day weekend. Woohoo! It's actually day 3 of my 4-day weekend. Haven't done anything "big," mostly just relaxing and what not. A well deserved rest if you ask me. Besides, we have an inspection coming up in a couple of weeks and we're going to be working extra hard to get things ready for it.

Yesterday after dinner, we attempted to do our walk along the river trail. We've been talking about it for a while and we finally made our way there. Unfortunately, it didn't last long because there were a lot of bugs and mosquitoes flying around. Oh well, at least we tried. We're going to try another day and time. Hopefully it'll be better next time.

Since that kind of fell through, we ended up driving looking at houses again. We found her bosses house which was pretty nice. Then we just drove around looking at other houses in the area. We saw two houses that we could possibly get, neither are finished with construction though. It was nice dreaming of owning our first house. For now, base housing is just fine for us.

Well, to end tonight's blog, there's bad news out there. If you haven't heard, Limited Brands is selling 67% of ownership of Express to a third party. Yes, devastating news! The wifey found out through work, and I obviously found out through her. That means no more discounts when we shop there. Total bummer! It's not totally final, but should be sometime in June or July. Either way, we won't have another chance of shopping there before her employee discount is no longer valid. Sad sad sad. I guess that means we'll just have to pay the normal price whenever we shop there. I just hope this means Express will grow even bigger!
